Contents of the oath

Policies of the Olearum Association (Established in 2007)

 

1. Preservation and inventory of the cultural, industrial and agricultural heritage related to olives

2. Spreading and disseminating olive culture and its derived products

3. Protecting the quality of olive oil

4. Establishing links with other similar associations, both nationally and internationally

5. Collaborating with universities, schools, government offices, other public institutions and the media in the dissemination of olive culture and educational aspects

6. Distinguishing between individuals or organizations related to the Association's objectives

 

In accordance with the above policies, we carry out the following activities:

* Disseminating, researching, promoting and organizing activities related to the knowledge of olive oil, olive heritage or culture

* Strengthening Olearum in Spain

* Engaging researchers, educators, tourism professionals and restaurateurs

Contents of the oath

 

I, Tomiko Tanaka, hereby swear, before this General Assembly of Olearum (Heritage and Culture of Oil), wherever I am, to be an advocate and disseminator of the heritage and ancient culture of extra virgin olive oil.

As a member of Olearum, I will also continue to promote the quality of this golden liquid as a unifying food of the Mediterranean diet, and as a source for those who consume it, from which the soul of the Earth returns to the heart.

I, Francisco Lorenzo Tapia, founder and representative of Olearum,

in the name of the Association, authenticate your commitment and officially recognize you as a member of Olearum Heritage and Culture of Oil from this day forward.
